October 2008
Dear Plantsystemslandscape.com Visitor,
Welcome to our web site! Fall is here, and even though the
weather may be cooling down, we are not. We have lots of new
and exciting projects going on right now! We also have a new
addition to the Plant Systems family! Read on to find out
about our Feature Landscape, seasonal services, and our new
landscape designer.
FEATURE LANDSCAPE - "Roman Ranch"

The owners of this home wanted lawn and more lawn to provide
play areas for visiting grandchildren, while also wanting
a natural look and privacy.
Raised brick planters frame the lawn in sweeping curves that
provide seating areas and draw the eye to various points of
interest - specimen plants, the pool, the lake, or one of
the spas.

NEW LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
In September of this year we welcomed Landscape Designer
David Mabs to the Plant Systems family. David graduated from
Cal Poly Pomona in 2006 with a B.S. degree in Landscape Architecture,
and until recently has been working for a Landscape Architecture
firm in Southern California. Being from the Visalia area,
the call to come home eventually grew too strong, and the
rest is history. We are very happy with the new addition and
look forward to the many creative and beautiful designs he
will produce in the future!
